Hot-dip galvanizing
Hot-dip galvanizing is the best and most economical way to protect iron and steel against rust, and it ensures a long, maintenance-free service life.
Steel is a nobler metal than zinc, so the zinc provides cathodic protection of the steel. During the hot-dip galvanizing process, zinc and iron react to form an alloy. This acts as an extremely strong adhesion between the metals.
Hot-dip galvanized steel requires no maintenance, and has a service life of 50–100 years, depending on climate conditions. Wet coating, or powder coating, will extend the service life even further.
Information:
Due to increased energy costs, we see ourselves having to charge a variable energy supplement.

Pre-treatment
Black steel:
The surface of the steel is cleaned through the following pre-treatment process: cleaning in degreasing bath and HCl pickling bath. Next in line is a rinsing bath, followed by a bath containing Florflux, a binding agent to ensure that the zinc bonds with the steel. The steel is then allowed to dry. Finally, the pre-treated steel is dipped in a bath of zinc.
Painted/primed steel:
Painted/primed steel must be sandblasted prior to pre-treatment. The surface of the steel is cleaned through the following pre-treatment process: cleaning in HCl pickling bath. Next in line is a rinsing bath, followed by a bath containing Florflux, a binding agent to ensure that the zinc bonds with the steel. The steel is then allowed to dry. Finally, the pre-treated steel is dipped in a bath of zinc.
Max. dimensions, joists and pipes: l 16 m.

4 gantry cranes with a lifting capacity of 6.4 tonnes per crane. The greatest lifting capacity for structures is 12.8 tonnes.
